Kittycare, a growing pet-care brand under Sedlecký Kaolin, expanded its portfolio with a new Gourmet wet-food line. The goal was to introduce a premium sub-range that feels appetizing, and trustworthy, while keeping a friendly, playful tone consistent with Kittycare’s brand world.
The design needed to communicate quality ingredients, nutrition focus, and an inviting experience for pet owners seeking something more premium for their cats.
Design Direction

The packaging system balances warm, approachable character with clear product differentiation. Each flavor features a dedicated color palette, supported by simple iconography to help customers distinguish protein types at a glance.

Visual priorities: Bold logotype for strong shelf presence; Distinct color coding for flavor navigation; Playful animal icons to reinforce protein source; Soft, friendly palette inspired by natural ingredients; Light texture and rounded shapes to maintain brand warmth.

Together, these elements create a premium but approachable look, positioned between mass-market familiarity and a modern boutique feel.

A cohesive, memorable packaging line that supports Kittycare’s brand evolution into the premium wet-food segment — helping the brand build recognition in both local retail and online environments.
